High-Performance Career. High-Stakes Transition.
Perinatal Therapy for the Modern Mom
Specialized perinatal therapy for career-driven women navigating anxiety, perfectionism, identity changes, and the mental load of early parenthood. Available in person in Petaluma and virtually throughout California.
In your professional life, preparation, logic, and organization have helped you manage high-stakes responsibilities and deliver measurable results. Motherhood offers none of the clear expectations, reliable feedback, or finish lines you are accustomed to.
Every new stage can feel like starting over. Not because you are incapable, but because you care deeply about getting this very important job right. That pressure can quickly become anxiety, overthinking, overwhelm, and the persistent feeling that you should be handling it better.
WELCOME TO
PERINATAL THERAPY
You spent years building a successful career. You are used to working hard, solving complex problems, and being exceptionally good at what you do—then you became a mom.
Perinatal therapy is specialized mental health care for pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of parenting. It addresses the emotional, physical, relational, and identity changes that can accompany motherhood, while helping you maintain a sense of who you are outside of it.
For career-driven, working moms, that can often look like…
Navigating Identity and Guilt
which manifests as:
Missing the person you were before you had a child.
Feeling guilty for wanting time away from your baby to focus on your career.
Feeling guilty at work because you miss your baby.
Learning how to mix your old career goals with your new role as a parent.
Redefining Perfectionism and Control
which manifests as:
Letting go of the need to keep the house completely clean
Stopping the habit of planning every single minute of the baby's schedule
Accepting that asking for help is a strength, not a failure
Changing the belief that you must do everything by yourself
Transitioning Back to Work and Discovering Boundaries
which manifests as:
Setting firm limits on checking work emails after family dinner.
Telling your boss "no" when asked to take on extra projects right after returning to work.
Protecting your sleep and rest times instead of finishing chores late at night.
Creating a clear transition time between closing your laptop and being with your child.
You do not need life-coach or generic self-help advice.
You need a licensed therapist and thought partner who understands the pressure of building a demanding career and then trying to hold space for your work, identity, relationships, and family simultaneously.

MEET KYLIE!
Product Manager turned Perinatal Therapist
Before transitioning into clinical psychology, I spend years in tech, working as a product manager. I was proud of my ability to get (and succeed) in jobs that felt prestigious and fulfilling.
I get it when you describe being shocked and confused by the apathy you feel about returning to work or the stress of managing the mental load of motherhood. When you day dream about becoming a stay at home mom, but also want to be recognized in this upcoming promotion cycle.
My style as a therapist is direct, structured, and approachable. I treat the perinatal transition as a major structural evolution of your life and identity. My goal is to normalize the hurdles, reset expectations, and work alongside you to find solutions that work in your life, career, and family. I see therapy as a partnership: I'm an expert on growth and change. You are an expert on you. We need both for you to feel like yourself again.
