Our Session Rates
Rates vary depending on the specific perinatal service. Specific pricing is personalized and discussed after we review your contact form and evaluate your care plan. If you have questions about costs, we are happy to address them during your initial intake consultation.
Per federal and state law, uninsured or self-paying clients will receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing total expected costs before scheduling.
Do you take insurance?
California Perinatal Therapy is an out-of-network provider.
This means that we do not accept insurance as a direct payment and session costs must be paid out-of-pocket at the time of service.
We can provide superbills upon request, which families may submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by plan.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your out-of-network benefits.

In our sessions, you can expect a balance of deep reflection and actionable change. We will spend time reflecting on your feelings, understanding your patterns, and making sense of the massive identity shift you are going through.
I will help you understand the very real changes your brain is navigating during this season of life. But I will also push you. I want you to make tangible changes in your actual life, outside the walls of therapy.
Whether that means defining your core values, creating new and reasonable boundaries, or learning how to ask for help when you’re used to carrying it all, my goal isn't just to help you 'get through' the hard days. It’s to help you build a version of motherhood that feels both manageable and deeply meaningful.

I know that when you are already carrying the mental load of motherhood and a demanding career, adding one more thing to your calendar can feel impossible. Therapy shouldn't be another source of stress on your to-do list; it should be the one hour a week where you finally get to exhale.
Because of this, I offer flexible, secure virtual sessions. Most of the women I work with across San Francisco, Marin, and the broader Bay Area are navigating a hybrid schedule—commuting to the office a few days a week and working from home two or three days a week.
Virtual therapy is designed to fit seamlessly into that reality. Whether you block out a session during your lunch hour on a WFH day or take the call before the kids get home from daycare, we can find a rhythm that actually works for your life.

This is one of the most common questions I hear, and it makes complete sense why it’s so hard to tell the difference. During the perinatal period, the foundational pillars of our mental health (sleep, community, nutrition, sunlight, and movement) get completely rocked. Exhaustion and a tough adjustment period are expected.
However, if you are feeling uncharacteristically anxious, if you feel a persistent sense of dread, or if you feel like you are just surviving a season of life that feels impossible, it may be more than just sleep deprivation.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Fair Play Coach, and a Gottman Certified therapist, I am highly trained in relationship dynamics.
While our primary focus is your individual well-being, getting your partner on the same page is often a crucial part of that puzzle.
In our sessions, we will work on how to communicate your invisible load, set reasonable boundaries, and practice enlisting help—which I know is incredibly hard when you are used to doing it all yourself.
When it’s helpful, we can absolutely bring your partner into the therapy process to ensure they truly understand what you are managing, so you can build a more equitable and supportive dynamic at home.

Yes, absolutely. In fact, this is one of the most common challenges my clients face. When you are used to being highly competent, composed, and recognized for your work, returning from leave and suddenly feeling like you don't know how to 'make it all work' can be incredibly jarring.
In therapy, we don't just talk about the stress of the juggle—we actively work through the massive identity shift of becoming a working parent. Together, we will unpack the unrealistic expectations you might be holding onto, navigate the transition of going from all-day meetings to being present for your family, and help you redefine your boundaries so you can regain your footing and confidence both at work and at home.
